Clarcor UK has,
for many years, supplied purpose designed multi-stage intake systems
for land and offshore based applications.
Depending on the environment and
application, we have the versatility of using a number of different
products from inertial vane/spin tube separation to remove heavy
dust loadings followed by pre-filter pads/panels and high efficiency
particulate filters as a base system or any combination.
The housings could also include rain hoods, anti-icing and a variety
of other accessories.
In addition to the static multi-stage
systems offered, Clarcor UK has supplied hundreds of "Hurricane"
self cleaning pulse filter systems. Following the continuos
program of research and development, the Hurricane meets exactly
the filtration requirements of air intake systems for applications
such as gas turbines, diesel engines, electrical rotating machines
and compressors.
The "Hurricane" system
offers a modular concept which provides a multiple configuration
of filter assemblies adaptable to air flow requirements and space
considerations.
Clarcor UK manufacture a range
of heavy duty oil bath filters requiring little maintenance primarily
for diesel engines. The Autoflo is a moving curtain type
oil bath filter available with a variety of drive configurations.
The LP Oil Bath is a cylindrical type filter which employees
a self cleaning action and no moving parts in its operation.
For offshore/marine applications,
the "Aquavane" water separation systems was developed
from a comprehensive testing programme with a leading United Kingdom
university. The result of this extensive testing programme
was the adoption of the three stage Inertial Vane Separation system.
The enhanced products range now offers low and high velocity intake
systems to meet the requirements of this harsh environment.
